Foals
Our breeding program is only as good as the foals that we produce, and the foals are only as good as the riding horses that they become later in life. That's why we spend so much time and effort matching mares with suitable stallions, planning exercise and nutritional programs for our broodmares to ensure optimal growth and health of the fetus, and then after birth, we imprint and work with our foals daily so that they become good citizens. Later in life, our babies learn to lead, tie, stand for the farrier and vet, receive medical treatments, baths, load into a trailer, lunge, and do all the things that a grown-up horse needs to do quietly and calmly for life. We believe in integrating training into everyday life for our foals so that it comes naturally and easily. We also realize that babies do not have really great attention spans, so we keep it short and we keep it simple, and life is good for everyone!
