Facilities
The facilities at Runaway Farms were designed with the horse in mind first, and the rider a close second. Currently consisting of a 13 stall main barn and a shedrow barn with 2 stalls and run-in access, the farm is small enough to be personal, but has plenty of room to grow in the future. Our amenities are too numerous to list in detail, but include:

   ~  Several 14x14 foot, 12x12 foot, and 12x18 foot stalls
   ~  All stalls equipped with individual lights and ceiling fans
   ~  5 foot high, no-climb wire mesh fencing with oak toprails         and hotwire
   ~  Multiple grass pastures, grass paddocks, and sand         paddocks
   ~  Indoor washrack with hot and cold water
   ~  Multiple crosstie areas with rubber mats
   ~  Enclosed feedrooms
   ~  Bathroom and shower facilities
   ~  Tackroom with washer, dryer, refrigerator, and         kitchenette
   ~  Individual tack lockers with saddle racks, bridle racks, and         built-in key systems
   ~  Office with living quarters in barn for close supervision and         foalwatch
   ~  John Lyons 60 foot roundpen with riversand footing
   ~  Covered and open trailer parking areas
   ~  Cross-country jumps in fields (more coming soon)
   ~  Large hayfield for conditioning and hill work
   ~  Miles of trails on property and within close vicinity         (additional trails under construction)
   ~  Views of Watts Bar Lake and small lake on property
   ~  Situated on a quiet and scenic dead end road
   ~  Our 70x150 foot COVER-ALL LIGHTED INDOOR         RIDING ARENA IS NOW COMPLETE!

Clients will find the facilities at Runaway Farms to be first rate, and will enjoy our peaceful location and farm atmosphere. We encourage boarders to participate in farm activities and form friendships with each other; many of our boarders get together to ride at the farm, as well as on trails in the surrounding East Tennessee area.
