Grooveraine
Annie is a 1989 French Thoroughbred mare by Groom Dancer out of Souveraine. She started her career as a racehorse, but only raced a handful of times before becoming a broodmare and producing two successful racing thoroughbred foals. After passing through the hands of several owners, Annie eventually came to Runaway Farms as one of our founding broodmares. Her elegant conformation, elastic movement, and sweet personality...along with that thoroughbred "fire" make her an ideal producer of exceptional show ponies. Although Annie never had an opportunity to show off her talents in dressage or jumping competitions, her talent in either discipline is obvious as she moves gracefully through the fields at our farm.
